Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty is a relatively easy surgical procedure to correct the size, shape or appearance of the outer and inner labia. It is done in our office under a local anesthesia. Large labia usually occurs as a result of childbirth trauma, aging process, or simply because some women are born with the large, uncomfortable, irregular, or uneven labia. This can cause embarrassment with a sexual partner or loss of self confidence and self esteem. Some women have chronic irritation and discomfort with tight clothing, discomfort during intercourse, playing sports or other physical activities. In the past, women had to live with this condition but not anymore. If you have any of these conditions, you should consider some form of Labiaplasty. Vaginoplasty
This procedure is to make the vagina smaller and tighter. It removes excess of vaginal lining and brings the soft tissue and muscles to a tighter fit. It is usually done as an outpatient procedure and requires a short recovery time. During childbirth trauma, the vagina, surrounding muscles and soft tissues stretch to allow the baby's head to be born. Sometimes the vagina returns to its normal tightness and sometimes it doesn’t. Aging also worsens the condition. Women may complain of decreased sensation and sexual satisfaction during intercourse. The partner may also feel less satisfied, even though he would say nothing. A simple surgical procedure will restore the tightness and bring back the friction which is usually missing with a larger vagina. For more details about Vaginoplasty visit our Vaginoplasty page.
*The initial consultation is free; however, the fee for the physical exam is 100 dollars. If you decide to have the procedure, this fee is deducted from the total surgery fee.
